network.guifi.net is a cloud based website, so can deliver it's management capabilities anywhere.
Ultimately the goal is to provide a simple, intuitive & user friendly platform  which enables anyone  to build & manage last mile Internet access including support for advanced GXPON fiber optic technology, while providing the functionality to manage it as a neutral infrastructure, that is, not tied to a single vendor and friendly to Community Networks requirements and it's inherent collective and participative governance, open to anyone (community members & service providers): As opposite to proprietary infrastructures privately owned & asymmetrically ruled by privative owners who manage the infrastructure solely based on their own interest.

Thus, is about providing the ultimate state-of-the-art of the technology to enable a participatory internet access for everyone based on the principles of a sustainable & fair economy models.

Overview of the platform Architecture layers & components

The platform is composed by a complete & integrated architecture, so it is not advised to run on-premise, but delivering the functionality online as a whole and ready-to-go cloud platform available to all who wish to participate and share vision & values.

It is built on top of open source components, although exceptionally some proprietary components might be also used when haven't been found alternatives.... but looking fot them! ;)
