Services (a.k.a. bit-stream access or "bitstreams") is about the services delivered by the network.
In essence, network.guifi.net manages the relationship between compensation areas & zones, locations, connections (drops) to provide the requested services to a users & locations.
For doing so, provides a report will all the services you are related to according your role.
Every row provides the main information that helps on identifying the corresponding service and all its related entities (holder, location, compensation area, zone, service provider, type of service, device...).
A code of colors will help you on visualize the status of each entity.
At the very end of each row, you'll find a drop-down select list that provides all the actions available to manage the service.
The options available may differ according your role & attributes & status of the entities at the service.
Every link provides a form from where you can perform the action, such as provide access to see information & manage the entities, or advanced operations such as configure, reboot or reset a device.
At the form, by clicking at the "Execute" button, those operations will be executed by the platform onto the network by executings remote calls to the corresponding components of the network.
While the command is being executed, a message "Executing, please wait..." will appear on the screen. Please don't press any other key neither leave the page, just wait a few moments until the command gets completed, or gives a "time-out".
Once the command gets completed, the output of the command will be shown at the box below the button, so you can see the result.
Logs and comments will be logged at the device page and the related entities, to facilitate tracing and keep history records of what happened at the network and its supported services.
